I need fun stuff the kids can do alone (hence krispie objects) obviously with me right there, but they like to do the work.
I asked this in parenting because some of the recipes in Food are a little mature for little kids, and I want mommy/daddy opinions on tried and true recipes.

They could use green food dye, and make shortbread Christmas trees, cinnamon applesauce ornaments (there’s a link to the recipe in the source), gingerbread men, and if they’re old enough, you can try making cookies with a little hole in the middle, and putting a hard candy inside, which melts and looks really pretty.

I had two – an Easy Bake Oven and a Snoopy Sno-cone machine.
