i said that it would look futuristic in the end of 2020s or the beginning of 2030s. i will be around 31-37 years old when that happens.
my mom said when she was little she thinks that 2000s and 2010s will look futuristic but it does not look futuristic today.
i might see when i get to the future time travel, time machines, indefinite lifespan, flying cars, robots, new computers that will take you to the internet world, new video game consoles that will take you to the gaming world, trash converter that changes the trash into non trash, ovens that you can use for making turkeys, pizzas, baked chicken, cakes, lasagna much faster and easier, personal airplanes, space travel, artificial meat, fish, vegetables, milk, cheese, fruits, breads, converting other planets into more earth-like, a hard drive that holds up to 1 EB (1 EB=1000 PB 1 PB=1000 TB 1 TB=1000 GB) a dvd disc that holds up to 1 EB, etc.
EB=Exabyte
PB=Petabyte
TB=Terabyte
GB=Gigabyte
If you think how theworld was 20 years ago you can’t say it’s not futuristic now. Music came from music casettes, No one had a mobile phone, almost no one had a computer but every household had a typewriter. The “Digital Age” we now live in was unimaginable 20 or 30 years ago and changed everyones life.
well, its raining and quite gloomy..my girl suggested making some sugar cookies and gingerbread men. we got the eggnog with rum and the television on in the kitchen..ready to go. i bought a pair of metel tree ornaments that look like cookie cutters..they hang from a plaid ribbon and bought them as one looks like a candycane with a ribbon the other a box with ribbon…..in small letters it said do not use with food.[CHINA]. im not going to bake with it. only cut out dough..my girl says noway!..i say…were not baking with it!….i know lead….what product in china does not have a lead content. i’m gunho on using these cutters….i was going to wash and rinse well…guests are only going to eat a cookie or two….except me!..my girl says shes going to tell everyone the cutters are tainted. please give your advice.ps.no offense..it does not have the made in china smell..you know the smell.
i requested this in the food section and voila…its here instead..sorry!
You’ll be ok this one time. I would do it. There may not be any lead in them, you’re assuming. Even so, this one time you’ll be alright. I wouldn’t scrub them too hard in case there is lead.

can I subsitute baking powder for baking soda when making homemade cookies? And if so is the measurement the s
My 9 1/2 year old son, & I plan on making homemade cookies for the holidays as gifts, but we need soft & chewy cookies, not hard crunchy.
Plus, my sons homeschooled, & Im useing this as a homeschool project, math= for the measuring, & scopping the right spoonfull.
gym=for the stirring he has to do. (he has skinny little arms), & science for the product you get out of all those ingredients (like a science experiment)
no you can not substitute them… soda is a leavner… if you want soft and chewy cookies you can decrease the soda amount, or add more eggs, that will give you a lighter fluffier cookie more cake like.

I want to make homemade biscotti as part of my family Christmas gifts this year. How soon can I make it? Is it okay to freeze it? We may be getting some icy weather this weekend and it would be nice to stay inside and bake. Can I make it this early?
Biscotti are about the best thing you can bake in advance for gift-giving. They keep at least a week at room temperature if well wrapped up, and they freeze beautifully for at least a couple of months. (If you’re going to dip them in chocolate or anything, I wouldn’t do that before freezing.) Plus they’re sturdy, so they won’t turn to dust if you send them by mail. I don’t find that the type of fat you use makes any difference to how well they keep; I always stick to butter because it tastes best. Baking biscotti when it’s icy outside sounds great–have fun.

No pie ever baked has cooked uniformly around the edges, so bakers everywhere reach for the aluminum foil to place little shields around the edges to keep them from burning. If you’re like me, your foil falls off, or is too thick in some places and too thin in others, causing uneven browning. This pie crust shield effortlessly saves the day. Just place the shield over the pie before you slip it in…
