What are some unique gifts for my boyfriend for Christmas?
I’m a teenager so of course I’m sort on cash. I’ve got lots of friends and family to get gifts for and only a little bit of money to do so. I’ve been trying to think of some cute and sweet things to get for my boyfriend for christmas.
I was thinking of making him a cd of some love songs or something and a couple piano songs that i play… but that idea kinda sounded cheesey to me. So i don’t know I’d like to give him something like that. I can’t bake at ALL so thats totally out of the question. Is there anything else i buy/ make for him on my limited supply of cash?
Thanks!!
–Ellz
1)A jump rope from the sports training department $10-$20.
2)I don’t see anything wrong with a CD, but maybe some current hits from the radio, an F.M. station, like Bleeding love, Gimme Gimme, David Cook (I hear him on WKYQ in Paducah, KY.) or Christmas Carols. Look on the radio for something Jazzy or the Manhattan Transfer, they are very good.
3)Air Freshener? When I was young, a boyfriend really liked a car freshener to hang on the rear view mirror, Maybe a plug-in for his room, or aerosol can.
4) Dairy Queen treat.
5) A sprig of mistletoe, artificial from a dime store or sometimes hardware store(True Value).
6) Freeze some TV Dinners, make him a couple of plate from your own meals on foam, tin or solo plastic plates. You can include, meat, vegetable, roll, fruit, cake & pie. Meat (roasts, meat loaf, chicken breast, chicken cutlet and instant mashed potatoes, known as entree~with no other thing. Through in packaged gravy mix about 45 cents a pack. (Schilling McCormick). You add only boiling water or milk to the potatoes to make the plate, he adds the gravy himself by adding boiling water.
7) A night light about $2. And a magazine. Men love those too, a lot of times.
How do you know when your food is finished cooking?
I got a decent new set of cookware, and am experimenting with different kinds of foods. I tend to mix things from cans (chili, baked beans, veggies) with fresh ingredients (onions, green peppers, etc) and mix them in a pot with olive oil and a variety of spices. I have been letting it cook, stirring occasionally until I can smell it. But when do I know that it’s done, before it starts to overcook and burn? My ex girlfriend used the smoke alarm as a timer. Just kidding.
Its very hard to answer this question, as everything has a different ‘done-timer’ to it.
Onions take longer to cook then spinach, etc….
Its best to cook your fresh ingredients (or anything that needs to be cooked) first, then add your canned soups (as these are already precooked and mostly require heat.) From here, bring it to a boil and stop it (i normally stop it once i start to see steam). The best test is the TASTE TEST… just taste it and see if its hot enough, and if the ingredients have the texture you want.
If you put the canned soups in before the fresh ingredients then it will require you to cook the soup for longer in order to properly cook the fresh ingredients.

How to Get Rid of Acne Scars and Pimples From Home
You can get rid of your acne scars from home or with a product. Here are some things that you can try from home and a great all natural product for acne and blemishes.
Tip #1: Try applying Cocoa Butter to your acne scars. Cocoa butter will help blend the different shades of pigmentation on your face. Try applying it for 4 weeks every night before bed. Palmers makes a great cocoa cream, however you can use the unrefined cocoa butter from your local natural food mart.
Tip #2: Start Massaging Vitamin E into Your Skin. Vitamin E is great for the skin and may aggrevate acne in some people, but will work wonders to remove your scars and blemishes.
However if you are looking for a product at $49.99, Beauty 4 Ashes Christian Health & Beauty’s Mark 11:22 Acne Scar System may seem like a pricey investment to remove your acne scars and blemishes; however, it is worth every penny. For an all natural product that produces the same quality results as comparatively priced synthetic products, such as Philosophy or Proactiv, it gives you success without the use of chemicals. I discovered the Mark 11:22 Acne Scar System 3 months before my wedding date. Plagued by acne scars from youth and weekly breakouts, I needed a quick solution. However, I didn’t want to buy an artificial product ever since I learned many of the acids, chemicals, and preservatives in acne products create health defects. To be benefit, the product actually worked. My skin improved considerably by my wedding date, so much that I needed no concealer and only wore foundation to control shine during photos.
The Magic Ingredients
The “Mark 11:22 Scar System”” contains two parts: an acne scar facial scrub and aloe & lavender scar cream. Both components contain scar and acne removing essential oils such as Patchouli, Bergamot, Lavender, Emu, and Neroli. Not to mention, both parts contain the natural form of salicyclic (BHA), which is white willow bark. These ingredients clean your pores and remove scars. Of course, every acne and scar product claims to do this, but the noticeable difference between Beauty 4 Ashes Scar System and other acne products is the combination and quality of their completely all-natural ingredients. Emu oil alone is touted as a cure for scars, even keloid tissue. But, the scar system doesn’t just include Emu. It has Salicyclic Acid, Emu, Carrot Seed, Lemon, Lavender, Baking Soda, Orange—and all are naturally proven remedies for acne and acne scars. The scrub base is even sugar, which is a natural form of glycolic acid. Their lack of skimpiness on the ingredients, and the quality of their ingredients, simply left me impressed. And, after I saw my results, I was hooked. My skin was softer, more even toned, and less prone to breakouts. After my wedding, I tried to stop buying the product for awhile, to penny pinch, but my skin showed the difference. I now keep a set of the system on hand at all times.
