Does baking soda make your hair grow longer?

I really want long hair for the summer. My cousin uses baking soda and her hair is long. I didn’t know if I should do it or not. What do I need to do other than vitamin b,fruits, and vegetables?

get regular trims (like every 6-8weeks) it sounds stupid to cut your hair if you want to grow it but you need to trim off the dead ends otherwise your hair will just snap and evidently make your hair shorter. avoid heat and colour to the hair as this damages the hair and makes it look and feel unhealthy and try not to wash it very often – the natural oils help repair the hair, i go about 3/4 days between washes also a healthy diet and lots of water would be helpful..
