I’m baking a pie. Help?
So I wanted to bake a pie for my boyfriend. I put it on the microwave because I don’t have an oven. The one in my stove I use it to store pans and pots. I typed in 20 mins in the microwave. Is that enough time? Because my house smells like something’s burning, but I checked the pie and it’s still liquid with bubbles. Help?
Oh no! Hunny, you better turn off that microwave and un-store those pots and pans! I’ve never heard of a pie being made in the microwave, but kudos for your effort in baking for the boyfriend.
Here is a very simple Apple Pie recipe (can’t go wrong with Apple Pie!). You MUST use the oven! I store some pans in my oven as well but I simply remove them while it’s in use, then once I’ve finished cooking and the oven cooled off I just return all the pans to it. I don’t believe anything cooked in a microwave can compare to oven cooked food, you should even consider using the oven to reheat certain foods!
Check out the recipe, and even the other desserts. You may find something easier or more appealing to make, there’s quite a few choices in there. Good luck!
