What are the baking necessities?
I’ve just recently become very interested in baking and want to learn all about baking from scratch. But everywhere I go I see so many different baking utensils and bowls and appliances that I never really noticed before. So with Christmas coming, I’m thinking of just asking for baking supplies from everyone. But I don’t even know where to start with what I need. As of right now all I have is a bowl, measuring cup, a whisk, some mixing spoons, and a few cake and cookie pans. I’m interested in the whole nine yards, baking cakes, cupcakes, candy making, pies, brownies, and especially decorating all those.
So when it comes to baking, what are some utensils/appliances/etc. that are a necessity? And can anyone recommend a good cookbook/website for beginners in baking?
